Purple Haze Dry Fly
The Purple Haze is a fly created by Andy Carlson over 15 years ago. It is similar to a Parachute Adams, and can be used as an attractor pattern or mayfly imitation just like the Adams can. Traditionally the Purple Haze is tied with Super Floss rather than a dubbed body. We have taken the liberty of making some changes to the pattern that fit more artistic style, and have consistently brought fish to the net over the years. The Purple Haze has quickly become many anglers go to pattern, and one of the most prolific patterns in the western United States. This fly tied in a variety of sizes can match several different mayflies, and is one of the best Midge patterns you will find as well.
