Guide Series Fluoro Orange Royal Wulff Dry Fly
The Royal Wulff is not only a beautiful fly to look at, but also so fun to fish for rising trout. It is an attractor pattern used when there are no hatches going on. The original pattern calls for calf tail or body for the wing post. Although beautiful this is when tied, it is time consuming and limits the size of fly you can tie. By simply changing the wing material to Poly Yarn you can add a lot of variety in the wing and tie this fly more quickly. Our Guide Series flies are flies that are both extremely effective, quick to tie, and durable. These are the kind of flies you will find guides tying for their clients to catch fish on, and their job depends on it.
