Great Real, Extreme Value

This is a note of thanks and appreciation. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the Nirvana 2/4 fly reel I recently purchased from you. The build quality is excellent, and the looks unsurpassed!

I reminds me of my (beloved) old Meisselbach Airex Ablette fly reel that I purchased new way back in 1961. Yeah, I’ve been fly fishing for a while now. What I love about the Nirvana is that satisfying click and pawl soundtrack. Music to my old ears!

I attach a couple of snapshots for you. As I hope you will agree, it pairs beautifully with a nice old Partridge cane I still enjoy fishing. I had hoped my “happy customer” pictures might have featured a brightly colored native Virginia brook trout. Alas, my back country fishing is rather limited these days. But the big bluegills at a nearby county park pond remind me of why I first picked up a fly rod over sixty years ago.

Thank you for making the tackle that you do — and thank you for that wonderful little Nirvana 2/4. It is superb!

Classic Reel

I learned to fly fish on vintage reels that use the same caliper spring click pawl system in this reel, so fishing it was like meeting the well-mannered grandson of an old friend. I use the 2/4 wt with a 7' 4wt bamboo rod and love it!

Fun Reel!

I stopped by the Moonlit shop and walked out with a Nirvana Phoenix 6wt and the Vintage Click & Pawl reel. Buying was not on my mind, just an afternoon demo. I have no intention of returning these! Such a fun combo! I love that everyone on River knew I was on fish because of the constant zing of the click & pawl! The song of the big ones running had me in my happy place!

Beautiful Little Reel

I received my 2/4 reel other day and I must say how pleased I am with the quality of the machining, the finish, reel handle and the overall aesthetics of the reel. I can't wait to get a fish on it and hopefully hear the click and pawl song! Well done Moonlit.
