Purple Haze Bead Head Soft Hackle Nymph

The Purple Haze Parachute Dry Fly is one of the most used and productive dry flies in the west today.  There is something magical about the color purple and how it holds its color as it transcends into the depths of the water.  It is also close to the UV color spectrum making it very effective in catching the fishes attention.  The thorax is made from a UV blend of Vicuna Dubbing in Purple, and the Metallic Purple Bead adds a little extra flash to this bug.  The soft hackle creates amazing life like movement during your dead drift making them extremely effective.
